We supply two exciting ranges of our own engineered timber flooring - Smartfloor and Ultra Smartfloor.   

Smartfloor or Ultra Smartfloor- Which is best for me? 

Smartfloor is 14.5mm thick engineered flooring with a 3.5-4mm wear layer. It is designed for quick and easy installation as it is supplied prefinished (7 coats of Treffert) and can be either direct stuck or floated. The wear layer is made from real wood so unlike laminate flooring, every board is guaranteed to be different. Because the wear layer is thinner, it is recommended that you should only resand it 2-3 times.

Ultra Smartfloor is 21mm thick engineered flooring with a thicker-than-usual 6mm wear layer (equivalent to solid timber). It is designed to appear as solid timber flooring while still giving you the benefits of an engineered timber floor! The wear layer is also made from real wood and the extra thickness means it gives a more natural sound and feel for walking on and most importantly, it can be sanded down over and over again, meaning it will last you a lifetime! It is currently only available unfinished.

Both Smartfloor and Ultra Smartfloor are suitable for use with most underfloor heating systems.
