Why? Macrocarpa's most attractive feature is one that is not visual. Due to the chemical makeup of this timber, it has an 'inbuilt' DNA that suppresses insect and bug activity, even after the timber has been felled - meaning, the timber is used in its natural state and not processed or chemically treated.
